Educating Care Providers

Mucopolysaccharide (MPS) disorders are caused by enzyme deficiencies that lead to an accumulation of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) in cells, tissues and organs.

The symptoms of MPS can mimic common childhood illnesses such as colds and infections. However, MPS leads to serious health implications and even death.

Children with MPS are regularly seeing pediatricians.
