Be Their Hero for a Day: Help Children with Rare Disorders Thrive!

Volunteer with the Canadian MPS Society’s National Family Conference| July 18-20 | Mississauga

We’re seeking compassionate volunteers to support children with Mucopolysaccharidosis (MPS)—a rare genetic disorder that affects 1 in 25,000 Canadians. These remarkable children face significant physical and cognitive challenges daily, but with your help, they can fully enjoy our conference activities.

What You’ll Do

  • Engage with inspiring children through interactive workshops
  • Join our special Saturday outing (July 19)
  • Choose your commitment— July 19/20
  • All meals provided during volunteer hours

Why It Matters:

  • Give parents of children with life-limiting conditions a much-needed break
  • Build meaningful connections with extraordinary kids
  • Learn firsthand about rare diseases from families managing them
  • Gain valuable experience working with diverse abilities

Ifyou are comfortable working with special needs children, passionate about making a meaningful difference, and available to volunteer during the weekend of July 19-20, this opportunity would be perfect for you.

This is more than volunteering—it’s creating moments of joy for children who face incredible challenges.
